alt.style takes a flat 15% platform fee on each completed booking — that's it. No hidden subscription fees, no payment processing markups, no surprise deductions. You set your rates and you keep 85 paise of every rupee.
Earnings are settled on a weekly basis via direct bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS). Funds from completed sessions are held briefly post-session to allow for any client concerns, then released in the weekly payout cycle, typically by Tuesday.
Any styling or beauty service with a creative edge — alt hair, vivid color, editorial and commercial makeup, fashion styling, wardrobe audits, personal shopping, sustainable fashion consulting, and more. We're open to non-traditional services too; if it involves personal style, pitch it to us in your application.
Yes, absolutely. Virtual sessions are fully supported — wardrobe consultations, colour analysis, personal shopping guidance, and styling calls are increasingly popular online. You can offer in-person, virtual, or both; the booking system handles either format.
Every accepted stylist gets a personalised onboarding kit, a 30-minute video walkthrough with our team to set up your profile, and access to our private community Slack. We'll also feature your profile in our New Stylists newsletter and social spotlight within your first two weeks.
